First of all, Jonathan is the real deal. He sets the example of fitness and lives it in every area of his life. Very impressed. I am not a typical gym person but wanted to work out with a personal trainer who could address the concerns and goals that I have. He does just that and more. He is not the typical trainer; he knows anatomy and can help with specific goals. He is well read and takes into consideration eating habits, ancestral eating patterns, etc.
His place is in a convenient location – near Bishop Arts on the side street, near the corner of Jefferson Blvd (also near the Bishop Arts Theater). As a woman, I had concerns about working out with a male trainer, alone in his studio — he is non-creepy and very respectful. I wouldn’t hesitate to send my friend, my mother, or my daughter in for a workout session with him. His place is well lit, very clean, and organized. He is dependable and the kind of entrepreneur who you want to help succeed by sending him referrals.
His pricing is very reasonable and worth including this in your spending plan. You will see results fast and feel better about your body knowing that you are working with a Professional. I have several friends who also go to him and have great things to say about him. We highly recommend Jonathan.

I’ve been training with Jonathan for a while now, and he’s the best trainer / coach I’ve ever had. He’s got an vast knowledge of the human body. I love the way he uses this to tailor my fitness program to achieve my goals and for my specific form and condition. I can’t imagine a trainer being more creative in developing exercises to strengthen the “core” (and all) areas of the body. Who knew that you needed to “turn back on” parts of the body? And just how to do it..? Not me.. The training I’m doing with Jonathan will guide and benefit me for the rest of my life. Seriously great stuff–check him out.

Since I started training with Jonathan several months ago, I have improved significantly in my strength, mobility and flexibility. I have been training with Jonathan for about 1 year now and it has changed my life.I was 56 and had never set foot in a gym before. I went to Jonathan and asked him to work on correcting my posture, thinking this would take a few months, then I could quit. He put together a comprehensive plan to improve overall fitness, mobility, balance and core strength. We also spent a lot of time discussing diet and he had me keep a food diary, which we discussed at each session. Changes became obvious very fast, excess belly fat disappeared, I was standing taller, and my blood pressure returned to normal, and I no longer needed to take a couple of medications that I had been on for years. I am most amazed at how much better I feel now and how much energy I have compared to a year ago. Jonathan has vast personal experience and knowledge to draw from and really loves what he does, it shows. He is easy to talk to, a good teacher, and his one on one private training is perfect for my needs. As a chiropractor and former strength and conditioning coach myself I’ve been exposed to virtually all forms of rehabilitation and exercise. After tearing the meniscus in my knee nearly a year ago, I tried conventional rehab with little success. I was unable to play hockey or engage in many recreational sports for months. I even contemplated surgery after several setbacks with the injury. I began training with Jonathan 3 weeks ago and have noticed I now have 95% of my range of motion back in my knee as well as significantly improved range of motion in my hips. I was able to play hockey for the first time after my 3rd week with Jonathan with no problems. My shoulders feel much stronger and more stable as well. I overall feel like I am moving much more efficiently and that my risk of injury is much lower. The workouts are hard but extremely fun. Jonathan is way ahead of the curve with his knowledge and philosophy of training through movement. I highly recommend him to anyone looking to improve their strength, overall fitness level and/or decrease risk of injury.
